We’re still recovering from the launch party for new eyewear brand London Retro – nine of the coolest styles inspired by some of the most iconic shapes of the 60s, 70s and 80s with names including Carnaby, Shoreditch, Portobello and Hoxton. And boy what a night…

The afternoon kicked off in style with old-school skewers of cheese and pineapple – you couldn’t keep us away! The lovely guys from The Mighty Booth set up a Sherlock-Holmes-style photo booth accompanied by some fantastic fancy dress and props. We aren’t ashamed to admit we had A LOT of fun and the evidence is currently up on our office walls – guaranteed to make any visitor chuckle. An office vote says that the one below is undoubtedly the most brilliant of them all…

The product display area with a selection of mismatched vintage mirrors had been set up to replicate a scene from a very 80s looking living room. London Retro imagery was put up around the venue and Charlie Blue and Red perfumes were provided for a real blast from the past.

Our team conducted live demos which took people from londonretro.com through to either Glasses Direct or Designer Glasses Shop – both retailers of the London Retro collection.

Old fashioned sweets, a London memento key ring, a branded USB and VIP cards for buying the specs at discount prices, completed the canvas London Retro goody bag.

It was a fab night all round and we’re already excited for phase two of the London Retro collection!!!
