Lizzy from Lizzy’s Literary Life points us towards ‘Skios’ by the brilliant Michael Frayn.

The book almost feels like a stage-play – which wouldn’t be a bad thing after Frayn’s most famous piece, the marvelous “Noises Off,’ has taken London stages by storm yet again – as it’s set entirely in a Greek airport. The mix of characters is where the real comedy lies, with Russian oligarchs, celebrities (in high-end academic circles), con artists and a host of other delightful characters, trapped together in a hot waiting room. Expect embarrassing situations, mislaid luggage, angry girlfriends and mistaken identities in this highly amusing, chaotic farce.
