In today’s post we’re talking about a huge milestone Glasses Direct passed: 75k reviews on Trustpilot, as well as talking about the importance of reviews.
In October last year, Glasses Direct reached 75,000 reviews and a TrustScore of 9.3 on review site, Trustpilot. This was a massive milestone because it was a huge achievement on the part of our employees, but more importantly, you, the customers. We’ve since reached 80.3k reviews on Trustpilot, and continue to receive many each day.
How is the Glasses Direct score calculated?
Of our 80.3k reviews, 85% of customers have given us an Excellent rating, 9% have rated us Great and 3% have rated us Average. All in all this has given Glasses Direct an overall Excellent rating, which we couldn’t be happier about, and has ranked us in the Top 30 for the Glasses category. Why are reviews so important?
Reviews are important for a number of reasons. For customers, reviews are great because it lets you know how good (or bad) a product or service is, and whether or not you should purchase. Think about it. When was the last time you bought something without reading at least ten two reviews? According to many studies, 88% of consumers value online reviews as much as personal recommendations, while 90% of consumers read reviews before visiting a business. Reviews are also a great way for companies and business to give their customers a voice, because after all without customers there would be no businesses.
Speaking of businesses, reviews are great for them because they help let them know what their customers really think. Reviews are also great for business because it helps them see what’s working, what’s not and what can be improved – which in turn helps aid the customer’s experience.
For Glasses Direct specifically, we use the reviews as a way of putting the customer first. We love hearing what our customers have to say because, like we mentioned above, it helps inform us about what’s working and areas where we can improve. Our reviews help show how trustworthy we are as a business. Reviews are also great because they show how easy, convenient and affordable buying glasses online can be.
